Terms of Use
Version 2026-09-11. Publisher: Jobshift Ltd., Leicester, United Kingdom.
These Terms of Use govern access to tryjobshift.com, app.tryjobshift.com and the Jobshift services published by Jobshift Ltd.
1. Acceptance
Creating an account and using the service requires unreserved acceptance of the current Terms. The accepted version is identified by date and recorded with acceptance evidence. Material changes may require renewed acceptance.
2. Eligibility
The service is limited to people aged 18 or older who have legal capacity to contract. Users must provide accurate information, protect credentials and report unauthorized access.
3. Service
Jobshift helps users discover jobs, assess relevance, prepare CVs and letters, track applications and, where available and enabled, assist with or automate submission. Jobshift does not guarantee interviews, employment, or the permanent availability or accuracy of third-party listings.
4. Assisted and automated applications
Users remain responsible for the accuracy of their profile, documents and answers and control applicable application settings and authorizations. Jobshift implements duplicate protections, but recruiter and third-party systems remain outside its control. Available automation can be disabled in settings.
5. User duties
The service must not be used for fraud, discrimination, unlawful or misleading conduct, false qualifications, security interference, bulk extraction, technical-limit circumvention or infringement of third-party rights.
6. User content
Users retain rights in submitted content and grant Jobshift Ltd. a non-exclusive worldwide licence, limited to the period necessary to host, analyze, adapt and transmit it solely to provide, secure and improve the requested service.
7. Artificial intelligence
Some features use automated or AI systems to analyze CVs, rank jobs or suggest documents. Outputs may be incomplete or inaccurate and should be reviewed whenever a preview is available.
8. Availability
Jobshift Ltd. seeks to keep the service available but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, incidents, security constraints or third-party failures may temporarily restrict access.
9. Intellectual property
The Jobshift brand, software, interfaces, databases, text and graphics are protected. No right is transferred except the personal right to use the service under these Terms.
10. Liability
Each party is liable for direct damage caused by its fault within mandatory legal limits. Jobshift Ltd. is not responsible for recruitment decisions, third-party content or outages, or indirect damage. Limits do not apply where prohibited, including fraud, gross negligence, bodily injury or mandatory guarantees.
11. Suspension and termination
Users may stop using the service and request account deletion. Jobshift Ltd. may suspend or terminate access for breach, security risk, fraud, legal obligation or harm to third parties, with notice where circumstances allow.
12. Law and contact
French law applies, subject to mandatory consumer protections. Contact support@tryjobshift.com. The parties will seek an amicable solution before proceedings.
13. Managed third-party application accounts
By accepting these Terms, the user expressly authorizes Jobshift to create and manage an account on a third-party ATS or employer site when required for an application the user requests. A right-swipe authorizes only that exact application: Jobshift may create the account, use a managed relay address, verify a link or code delivered to that address, reset or rotate the secret, and independently verify login. No broad standing mandate replaces the current swipe. Optional marketing remains declined. Candidate-held MFA, identity proof, prohibited automation, or extraordinary consent ends automation without a success claim.
